Justin Cabot-Van Leer III arranged toothpicks and dolls through bloodshot eyes in his Brooklyn condo. He shares his home with his long-time fiancé, Keely Fisher-Brooks. The pair became engaged 12 years ago when they were both 21. His latest work: A diorama of their planned trip to Bangladesh.

“I’m exhausted from the heartache and the worry,” struggled Justin. “Our last travel was in Mid March. We’ve already exhausted footage from that trip… there’s only so many ways to frame Cambodia.”
The pair’s full-time focus for the past 3 years has been luxury travel blogging. “We think travel is essential for the soul. Mother always said so,” yelled Keely from the kitchen where she was making a fresh Nespresso. “It’s a crime we can’t get our lattes from Variety anymore,” referencing the popular Williamsburg java haunt. “Dad should call the governor.”

The entrepreneurs have watched in vain as their followers on instagram have not commented, liked or shared their latest posts. Similarly, their YouTube views are at all-time lows on their channel, “Travel & Soul Experts.”
“Maybe I need to go back to law school,” Justin questioned. Then losing focus, turned his attention to his Twitter news feed.
